Hustler Fastrak with the Honda engine

Weak turnover and will not crank
Died yesterday and wouldn’t even turn over
This morning it started and I drove it about 20 feet and it died again. For a while after that, it wouldn’t even attempt to turn over. Turned the key and didn’t hear anything. Let it sit there for a while, wouldn’t do anything so...

I’ve tested the following:
Ignition switch
PTO switch
Seat and both arm sensors
All are working

Replaced the battery
Replaced the only 2 fuses it has
Replaced both spark plugs

Any ideas before I set this thing on fire??

First thing I would do is to test the new battery...I have been sold bad batteries before.

I have too. I took the new one out and brought it to another parts store and it checked out fine

There's a start assist kit for the Fastrak with Honda engines. It bypasses the start relay and sends a full 12V directly to the battery. It's about a $50 kit. Could be your problem but the part where u said it started and went 20' then died is the curve ball because it started.

When u went the 20' were the blades on?
Checked both fuses?
Also sometimes a cheap lawn & garden battery even tested good is still to weak for some of the bigger Z's especially those with larger engines/starters. So it could be a battery issue even with a battery testing fine.

If the starter was bad would it even try to turn over?

About thirty minutes ago I turned the key and it slowly tried to turn over.

Just went to try again and turn the key and it does absolutely nothing.

Blades were not on. Checked both fuses. Then replaced both just to be safe

Could also be start relay? That under the instrument panel. The start relay and clutch relay are the same. Swap the two relays and see if it starts?

Sounds like a weak battery, try jumping it off your truck battery

Swapped them and nothing. Swapped them back and it started. Drove about 5 feet and died again. Now nothing when I turn the key

Did you load test the battery? A battery can have 12 volts but can read bad when load tested.

I'm guessing wiring also.

Is the battery a direct swap from what you had? It sounds like you need a better battery. I had the same issue and we had a motorcycle that did the same issue. I went to an interstate from the dealer and no issues. The batteries weren't strong enough to keep it running.
