Can’t wait! Meeting my dad, grandfather and cousins there. Probably the last time we all get together to do a fishing trip with my grandfather it’s getting harder for him to travel. Will update with pics this weekend

Good luck. The White is my favorite fishing destination. This is the absolute best time of year to be there. The big browns should be plenty active.

What part of the White River? My grandparents used to live near Batesville and we fished there several times when I was younger.

On low water (minimum flow) you can jig for sculpins in the rocky bottom areas of the river. They like to get in holes or under ledges. Tiny hooks, small like a sabiki rig, tip them with tiny pieces of earthworm or boiled shrimp.. Harps sells bags of shrimp steamed/boiled with no seasoning. Frozen foods section.

Cut cooked shrimp is good trout bait too. Thread it on the hook on a standard river rig. Tip with corn adds some color.

Honestly this is my favorite time of the year to fish. Water will be lower, less moss and they don't have unlimited food. Yall should wear them out, have fun.

Those are hard to beat also. Pump a little air in them with a hypodermic. Good to go.

Damn water is shallow gonna have to run my boat trimmed up tomorrow.

Could have just rented a boat but the baw in me wanted to bring my own. My uncle and cousins paid for guides me dad and grandpa gonna take my boat and outfish the frick out of them. Glad we brought waders will be easier to reach those good holes with the water so shallow

Nimas pizza in Cotter might be the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The meat pizza Chicago deep dish style with pepperoni, Italian sausages, capicola

Try a fly rod after you catch your limit. Lots of fun.
