Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I don't know where to dig for the information...are lifetime licenses going away? If not are they increasing? If they are increasing...will the prices increase for children as well?

The combo lifetime will remain; only the individual hunting and fishing lifetime licenses are going away.

Based on the last version of the bill I saw, no.

I believe they are getting rid of the age brackets and there will be one youth lifetime license. Don't recall what the price would be, though.

Lifetime Licenses Hunting, Fishing, or Combo may be purchased up until June 1, 2022. After that date none will be sold. Everyone will buy annual individual licenses for their sport.
How does this encourage recruiting more men and women of the upcoming generation to the outdoors?

That's not entirely accurate.

1) It's been established that the post you quoted is not entirely accurate. Combo lifetime licenses will continue to be sold.
2) How does the availability of a lifetime license translate to hunter recruitment? Do you believe someone who has never hunted/fished before is going to buy a lifetime license the first time they want to do either? Or that buying a child a lifetime license somehow translates to that child hunting and/or fishing for the rest of his/her life?
