Does it have a boss? I'd put my .30-06 Browning with a boss up against it. I freakin' hate not hearing after shooting.

Hardest kicking--- .45-70 Handi-rifle synthetic

Loudest--- goes to either my grandfathers 7mm rem mag A-bolt with the boss or my FA91 .308 with muzzle break. Both feel like someone is stabbing you in the ears to shoot them without hearing protection.

Shoot something with a boss. A 7 mag with a boss should be illegal.

those things are a beast.
I've shot a winchester .375 H&H magnum in a lever action gun.
Brutal but still not quite like that Weatherby magnum loaded .338

I borrowed my dads 7mm with a Boss one day to hunt. I shot at a bobcat out of a boxstand. That was by far the loudest gun I have ever heard. I missed the bobcat and really didn't want to shoot it again. I did though.

As for the hardest kicking gun, I haven't shot many larger caliber guns. At my camp we shoot skeet and mess with people by "looking at their gun" my brother did this to me and put in a 3.5 buckshot in my 12 gauge. This was no joke.

we used to do that too.
Take a 3 1/2 inch magnum sabot slug and put it in with some skeet shot.

We have shoot many 3.5 at skeet messing with people and surprisingly the turkey loads pack a nice punch.

I shot some HeavyShot last year in my Nova. I wanted to cry after I hit that turkey. I don't know what hurt more. My shoulder or his head...

It is amazing the recoil reduction that can be achieved with a well designed muzzle break.

The 416 is actually pretty fun to shoot, too bad every squeeze of the trigger costs $10 for ammo!

Ouch. Although I guess if you are hunting something that you need a 416 to bring down; chances are you are spending a butt load of $$$ to be there

Shot a 300 wetherby mag w a Boss (once). Blew the hat off my head, and everything off the bench. I had foam ear plugs in plus muffs, and it was still loud as hell and kicked like a mule. Boss is no good (to me). Better hit em the first time cause there won't be nothing left in the woods once you squeeze the trigger. Including leaves on the trees.

Yeah there were three of us hunting with BOSS equipped rifles at our old lease. There was no hiding it if you shot. Everyone new when you got back to the camp.
