Anyone know of reputable places within a few hours of Houston that offer guided duck hunts that I could take some guys from work on? Doesn’t need to be top notch overnight corporate accommodations. More concerned about birds and nice guides. I had thought about Doug’s in SWLA, but I feared they may have been / will be negatively impacted by these hurricanes, but let me know if you know otherwise.

Garwood Hunting Club. I think we pay $250/man for three meals, lodging, and the hunt.

Can’t recommend enough.

Drake Plantation and Fin & Fowl Outfitters in Winnie, TX. Best guides and property on the Eastside of H-town. Fin & Fowl has a cool lodge on Trinity Bay that you can fish on their lighted pier in the evenings.

I am sure I am gonna murder the spelling on this but Kirankawa Plains down in Pierce, TX between Wharton and El Campo. It used to be Bill Sherrill's but he retired. Best property and guides South of H-town.

I hunted dougs for teal season. Their marsh made out fine for Laura. I’m sure it’s still okay.

Drive two hours to the east and go to Grosse Savanne near Lago del Chuck.

They cancelled teal season and will be set back due to delta. If I remember, you have to rent entire lodge at a premium rate for just a couple guys but op may be a baller. Places sw of h that can take care of his needs with in state license for a one day hunt.
HR&G to hunt am and fish pm with me.
