2 specks and a dozen hard heads on live shrimp under cork yesterday evening
7 nice specks this morning on topwater. They were blowing it up. I missed way more than I caught.
Also caught a shite ton of white trout under the lights last night

Bump for this week/weekend, anyone have any word?
What do you guys suggest this weekend? Looks like good tide movement Saturday and Sunday, but 10+mph EAST wind, thats not good right?

The water has been beautiful out toward the west. From what i have been hearing is the trout bite lasts for about an hour right at sun up and then pretty much shuts down after that. I have been on some nice fish,but I ain't putting all my secrets up here. If your'e going to be down send me an email.

We dont have a boat, burgeman and I are probably going to find a beach on elmers or the island to surf fish. I dont want to intrude, just looking for suggestions, thanks man. Expect an email ending with 985 from gmail

I'm on my way to the island now, going to put my crab traps out when I get there and I'll ride down to Elmers to see how soft the sand is or if any more fords end up in the surf.

looks like a S/SE wind starts on Thursday so it should clean up the water a little bit before the weekend. Unfortunately, the wind is projected 10-15 right now which may make it a little bit choppy, but we'll see.

Gulf side eight now is smooth as glass. Set out my crab traps then came ride to Elmers. It looks like there's been some rain recently but the sand is still soft. There's a set of packed ruts and 2wd should be ok as long as the sand doesn't dry out much. Don't wonder out of the ruts and you'll be fine.
