Had a slight breeze, 10-15 I'd say, out the southwest. Picked up a little more later in the day though. Windfinder the day before showed about 8-10

Yeah, not sure, maybe it was the west wind. Had a buddy that fished Cocodrie this weekend and they had to stay away from beaches due to the water. May have been blowing a bit more than 10-15 I guess. I feel like every time I plan a trip down there it ends up being one of these weekends haha.

Yeah we went to Elmers Saturday early. When the sun came up I realized the water looked like chocolate milk. Caught 4 sail cats and that was it. Don't think I'll be making any more trips where a west wind is blowing.

Fishing ABC rodeo yesterday and today. 12-15 mph S wind prevented getting to the beach yesterday and today. 3 of us had 29 yesterday on croakers behind the island. Only have 7 in the box today.

I’m hearing vague reports someone fishing on the side of the road was killed the other day? Can anyone confirm? Assuming struck by vehicle.

We were at Grand Isle Marina friday afternoon. Two GI cops were waiting with a guy who was missing a rim/tire on his tri axle boat. State police showed up an hour later. We were wondering why, but this seems to answer that.

16 miles from Fourchon to G.I. Those odds are insane.

Caught 40 fishing east of GI Saturday. Only had to measure one fish. While we didn’t have numbers, the fish we caught were hammers in the 18-23” range.

Nothing wrong with that. How far east you have to go? We fished all around independence and nada.
