Bachelor party trip for a friend. Plan to bowfish on our first night with a guide. Second day hang around the camp and either surf fish or pier fish. Would we do better at that time of year in the surf, or on a pier bay side? Would also like to catch a few crabs, but I know that's late in the year. You that know grand isle, which side would we do better on? Do you know of a certain camp to rent? Thanks for the help

Late october/Early November is the flounder spawn.

Bait hook with dead shrimp, drop it right off of a pile going into the water, pull up giant flounder.

It doesn't get any easier. No boat required.

Best chance of catching crabs is when all the sloots are in town for the rodeo.

Late October thru thanksgiving is my favorite time. I'm usually in the Biloxi Marsh hammering the specs and reds.

October is my favorite time to fish and go to the camp. No people down, cool weather, and football. Chase some fish in the marsh. There is only a million camps down there for rent. Not sure on any specific names to help. But come time, I can try and give you an update on fishing. If no boat, I'd fish all the spots on side of LA 1.

Any of the bridges in between grand isle and fourchon, there are several deep canals, the culverts on other side of fourchon. That time of year, just find some moving water and deeper holes

Call Todd Digeorge. Has a camp on the Chenier. Right across from Elmer's Island. Night fishing on the dock with lights, crab traps right off the dock. Good tidal movement. $300 per night last I heard. 985-687-5552
