How's that Majek treating you Smoke? I just fished one yesterday and really liked it.

Nice looking boat is it a fishing boat or a race boat? 1350 is light are they rough riding?
Really nice boat I'm not kidding but man looks like it would Boucey in a chop?

Boat handles chop like a champ. I repowered it this year with a new 250 pro xs. So It's a 2012 hull with a 2013 motor (only 30 hrs). I actually just put it up for sale. Only reason I'm selling it is to buy a new tower boat. I really don't want to sell it but for the tour stops next season, I think a tower boat would be more useful. However, if I find a partner who already has a tower boat, I'm gonna kep it.

You think you will be able to recoup everything back you put in it or take a pretty big hit? BTW how much you asking for it. Might have a few people interested or just buy it myself ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Decided to keep the boat. Just gonna repower it again this year.
I've got my 2013 250 Pro XS up for same if anyone wants a good deal on a lightly used motor. Only 40 hrs on this one. Shoot me an email if interested.

Why?

because I can sell this motor for what it will cost me to buy a brand new motor. This motor is in perfect working order. Only 40 hrs on it & warranty until january 2016. I won't be able to sell it for what I've got in it in another year. It's just easier to repower every year. Someone will get a sweet deal & save about 4k on a motor...

That just sounds like a royal pain in the arse to mess with every year.

Not really. It only takes about 10 minutes to pull the motor off my boat.
I actually know a lot of guys who do this every year. Some repower every year & others just sell their whole rig & get a brand new one. This is a good time of year to be looking for a used boat because all the tournament anglers & guides who are on a guide program with a boat / motor company are getting rid of their boats right now.
Take a look at the classifieds on 2coolfishing, almost all of the 2013 year model boats are either tournament or guide boats.
I just figured that I would give the OB a shot @ it too.

How long is your boat? If it's over 20' long you can put whatever you want on the back of it according to USCG. I know several people with 250's & 300's on boats that are rated for a 225 by the manufacturer. Coastguard regs also say that any vessel over 20' in length doesn't need a Max HP Rating Plaq.
I can also confirm that a cowling off of a 225 will fit a 250... I can get you a 225 decal set for next to nothing also... LOL
