4 yr old, 60lb standard
very active, always wants to play. Doesn't shed. Thinks she owns the place and is alpha with other dogs.
got kicked out of doggy day camp. Has no issues at dog parks though

and they don't shed.
I think when my labs are gone I'll be seriously considering a doodle for this reason. Every one I've ever been around has been good natured as all hell.

Wife has one before we got together. Plays well with other dogs. Excellent around people, extremely gentle. Great house dog, not the most athletic or coordinated thing in the world. If you need a companion it’s a pretty safe bet. I don’t see them being the best working dog but it’s likely not your intention.
Like other said, they don’t really shed and need some occasional grooming.

Have two of them. One Golden doodle and a Dutch Shepard doodle. They are 2 years old and weigh around 60 pounds. They love to run and they love the water. They are awesome dogs. Once they shed their puppy coat around 1 year old they will not shed anymore. Make sure you buy a good set of clippers. I shave them 3 times a year. Only time I let hair grow is winter time.

Prepare your grooming budget. Sporadic grooming means no one will work on your dog.
