they want to redirect the stamp cost to conservation
I read that as conserving tax stamps for suppressors. As in keeping things as is.

Silencer shop sets up the trust for you or thats separate ?
They will. They use to have a full trust that you could add multiple silencers, SBRs, etc to. Not sure if that is still available or not.
They also offer a "single shot trust" that is good for a single item.
Trust removes issues if it is only in your name and you pass away. With the trust you would have family members or friends that would get the silencer. Without it, there is a process that they would have to go through to receive it. I don't know what all that is though.
If you set up a trust, whomever else you have on the trust has to submit finger prints as well. If you have a kiosk, you can use it to submit them.

when the creator of the trust dies, all of the trustees has to either create a new trust and transfer the items over (Form 5) or distribute the items individually based on the beneficiaries listed in the trust (also a Form 5).
Form 5s are apparently free for the first transfer to the person inheriting the item. when the 2nd person dies, the next person has to purchase the stamp again... or so i'm told.

Should I expect a refund for my previous can stamps?

I wonder if those TX members of the committee are Eye Patch clones?

Man nobody gives a crap about the $200. That solves nothing.

Damn, silencer central is being savaged on twitter. This might kill them. And if they lobbied against this, as it seems they did, then frick em. I bought a suppressor from them and they were fine, but I’m not buying another.
I don’t gaf about the $200 tax.

I’ll take what I can get for rolling back firearm restrictions and taxes. For over 100 years it’s been take, take, take from the feds.
If it’s not by bit, then I’ll take it. I’ve been eyeing an sbr in 6.5 Grendel, but I can wait.
Any win is good. I really want the HPA to go through, as we can brace pistol ARs, though a full sbr/sbs removal would be incredible.
