My neighbor's kid is turning 13 in a few weeks...kid is obsessed with fishing. Any gift ideas that a young fisherman might need? Probably $50 or less
Thanks for the help
ETA
Don't know if it matters but I'm pretty sure he only freshwater fishes.

Does he have a good tackle bag?
A gift card for some tackle would be solid too.

Academy has about 15 baitcasters that would be fine for a young fisherman all between the price of $40 and $60.

Two cheap cast nets
He will tear the first one up pretty quick

I was thinking a tackle bag. Backpack or just one to throw over a shoulder?

tackle bag
A lot of the young kids who fish fresh water wear backpack tackle bags. I see them all the time in my neighborhood. I’m going to get one for my kid for his birthday.

Boomerang snips
This!
I used to have a pair of electrical scissors in the belt holster just for that but in always afraid they'd fall out.
Also liked the retractable reel with the golf towels with the rings attached.
That or a real comfortable lifejacket. If they are on the Easter a lot.

I have snips and good pliers on me at all times.
If not I'll be looking for them

Mom's was always buying more nail clippers at the store.
