When I lived out East, I had to rely on Gander MTN.
This is not shocking news. Used guns were sold for MSRP. New guns were 10-15% above MSRP.
Fishing equipment was even worse. They made Bass Pro look like a 24-7 liquidation sale.

Used to buy all my hunting clothes from them back in the 90s. Seemed like they had good shite. Haven't bought anything from them in prob 15 years now.

I'm not surprised sales from brick and mortars are down. It's too easy now to order online to save some cash. I'm guilty of it. I had gifts cards from both Cabela's and Bass Pro that took me almost a year to use and I still just ordered online.

Im not real smart but all these hunting stores, hunting brands are doing this to themselves. When I can buy same quality, same clothing with a off name for half the cost, I'm going to do that. To me some of the odd brands are better than the real stuff.

Gander Mountains Guide Series clothes are great. I prefer a lot of them to North Face, Mountain Hardware and other brands that are 3x as much.
