A quick google map look showed me that he had been 9 miles through the marsh to get to where he was found. The following night after his return, it got below freezing. The owner thinks he ran off after a hog or something. Idk
two years before we lost grizz - he vanished chasing a crippled goose near jonesville - he was found later that day - 5 miles away.

I can not believe it but zipper was found 12 days later alive and well.

Sounds like he lost some weight but otherwise he's fine.

Pretty crazy

I would love to hear the story of where they found him compared to where he was lost. It is crazy what these dogs can do. Glad to hear ole zipper is headed home!

Amazing, so happy for the dog and his owners

Heading down there in the morning, will see if I can get the story of how he was found. Last time I was down there, the owner was coming in as we were heading out asking us to please be on the lookout since we were fishing that area.

Apparantly he was found at a camp.

I can only imagine Christmas camp as that's the only one I can think of out there
