Agreed. I prefer grilled but will take fried.
As for the other meat that isn't backstrap... fried or sausage.

KR, I do the same thing, but my brother had this one processed and had the backstraps sliced and run through a tenderizer. You could literally cut these with a fork
It's like there's no bad way to cook it. Like crab meat, it's hard to screw up.

That's true.
Another thing my Grand Mow Mow taught me... you can fry the whole deer. Just cut perpendicular to the muscle. Across the grain, not with the grain.

Grilled is also good. Ill fry any part.

Fried backstrap is the perfect camp meal. No dishes needed, big fan of salt and plack pepper method as well

I like how fried backstrap tastes. And I like grilled filet better than backstrap.
