For runners: What/How do you carry when you are out running?

I've recently gotten back into running, and I hate not having my CCW on me while running. I honestly don't know how I'd be able to carry any of my current guns while running. Any suggestions?

I rarely don't have a gun on me. When you think about it, you are a prime target to be robbed as you are already pretty winded and tried from running.

Robbed of what, your shoes?

I don't need to carry while running but you can look into one of those fanny pack holsters.
When I walk the dogs I put my M&P shield in a sticky IWB holster and tighten my drawstring. it does well enough for a $25 holster.

I use to run with my Kershaw all the time in BR, almost had to use on the levy right in front of riverside towing once to help a dude that was getting ready to get his head stomped by some urbanites..
By urbanites I mean black tPOS

I usually do something like this:
You could also get one of the Keltecs with the clip or any other "pocket pistol" in a IWB holster

I'm thinking I'll end up getting an LCP or something similar... I really don't like .380's but its better then nothing and would only probably be used when running.
I really wanted a shield to be my next purchase, but I think that might be a little to big.

Oh, never mind. I guess my odds of getting shot while jogging just went up exponentially due to that random act.

Having something that heavy in my pocket would never work for me while jogging. I think if you get a IWB holster for the small of your back would be your best bet. The problem is that it's going to be difficult to find a pair of shorts that you can use it with. They do have belts to hold water bottles and such that you could put the holster in that may be an option.
Or an ankle holster with leg warmers

Glock17,
I understand your concerns. I resumed running about 10 years ago. The thought of cc while running never crossed my mind at that time, but it does now; let's just say that times have changed..... I don't cc on all my runs (I feel pretty safe from the 2 legged vermin in the areas of our small town that I make short runs in), but I DO cc on the longer runs (they take me out of town). I incorporate that w/ non-lethal weapons and a hydration system (LINK ).
On short/moderate runs, I carry a canister of mace (mostly for 4 legged vermin).
On longer runs (anything over 60 min), I'm going to hydrate during the run. I carry the aforementioned hydration belt w/ bottles. Also attached to the belt, I carry a large, folding Cold Steel knife on the left and a can of mace on the right. In the pack at the rear (I swapped out the small size pack w/ their largest one) I carry my cell phone and a Kel-Tec P3AT. I've been using the hydration belt about 6-7 years and it's held up well. I've pulled my mace bunches of times on dogs, but only sprayed it once. I carry regular human mace, not dog mace (the latter is milder). Although I have one of the clips to attach the KT to a belt, I've never attached it or used it; I'm uneasy w/ an exposed trigger on my side. If you want it, let me know and I'll see if I can sell to you.

I agree with Glock17 in that you are a prime target when running.
A lot of criminals are turning to stealing property instead of wallets/money now if you haven't noticed. If they are determined and really want one of your belongings, you are in the perfect winded condition for them to take what they want with force.
I'm wondering what's best too. I think there are some flat belly-band holsters that have a small zipped pocket for a 380 or 38. Check them out.
EDIT: Should've been more specific...
The are less likely to take your wallet and are more likely to take your phone or other electronic device because your wallet may only have cards in it. Paper money is slowly becoming obsolete.

If I had to carry a gun to jog I couldn't with a good conscience let my kids grow up there. Maybe I am crazy.
