Fly fishing for bass

The ponds by my house were stocked 3 years ago and there is a nice bass population now. My kids and I have been catching several bass every day.
Im looking to buy some flies for bass. The place I used to go to in Slidell is no longer open. Can someone point me in the right direction for the greater no area?

Sportsman's Warehouse in Slidell has a decent amount. Marsh and Bayou in Mandeville should have some flies, but honestly it may just be easier to order some Boogle Bugs. They are durable and last awhile.
Wooly Buggers are good subsurface flies for bass but I typically just stick to topwater. Bass crush topwater flies. Size 4 Boogle Poppers are my go-to.

I see them online. Any particular site you buy them from?

Orvis will usually have the Boogle bugs on sale at least once a year and that’s when I load up on them

I’ve been catching a lot of largemouth, spots, redeye, smallmouth, and striper since moving to Birmingham 5 years ago.
Top left box is mostly for musky but I’ll use it for striper certain times of year.
Bottom left box is my bass box
Top right is crustaceans
Bottom right is baitfish and topwater
There’s some really fun streamer patterns for bass but like bluemoons said topwater is just easiest for neighborhood ponds

Instead of starting a new thread, hope I can jump in and get some recs on a good starter fly rod/reel setup for pond bass and bluegill.

I was looking for a set up to fish my pond, I ended up at no wake outfitters in Metairie. They seem to be pretty dialed in on fly fishing around here, I would say stop in next time you are down that way.

Something around 9' in a 5 or 6 weight.

Reddington Butter Stick 3wt for bream. The most fun you’ll have fishing. V

Orvis superfine glass is a ton of fun as is an epic fastglass
You don't need 9' for pond fishing

For you or SP? I might have my old one laying around

Both. The coppernose in the pond are really starting to get some size to em, and they've been fun on the ultralight tackle. Figured fly rod would be even more fun.

I love a good deer hair fly for bass.
I used to tie them myself and got pretty good at it. But, it’s a skill that needs to be used.
I’ve also tied deer hair flies for bream and they work really well.
ETA: WBY, I have a little 2wt and I absolutely love to use on bream and small bass. A half pound bass fights like a tarpon on that little rod.
Only problem with it currently is that I have no idea where the reel is for it.

I don't know about the NO area, but flies are plenty easy to order. The pultz poppers and sliders are AWESOME for topwater.
purchase here
clousers are great and you can get them pretty much anywhere.
Bennet's lunch/brunch money is another good one. I used to order directly from him but I think you can get them from most places that sell online now.

A 6wt is a lot of rod for bream, even coppernose. Also too much rod for most bass IMO.
If you want one rod to do both, I'd get a 5wt. 5wt is light enough to still be fun on coppernose, but has enough power to throw larger bass flies like bigger poppers or buggers. I bass fish with a 4wt just because it's more fun, but it won't throw larger flies as far as my 5wts will. No need to overcomplicate it really. Just get a decent 5wt combo like this: LINK
I have access to a pond with coppernose in it and they destroy the smaller boogle bugs. Super fun on a 4wt.

I have a 5wt and an 8wt. What # leader should I use for my 5wt for bass?

Fly fishing for bass is a blast undoubtedly.
If you havent gone down the rabbit hole already though, getting a high end BFS combo for bass/bluegill is an absolute blast.
You can throw tiny baits on ultralight baitcasting gear, down to 1g depending on your exact bait/line/reel & rod setup.
