Fletching arrows question?

Going to start fletching my own arrows. Buying the Arizona ez fletch right helical jig. What is the best glue for fletching plastic vanes?

I have had good luck with "lock tight" and the "Gorilla Glue".
Make sure you don't get to much or your vanes will stick to the Arizona jig.
Wraps are another good thing to add, easier clean up and removal for the next time you have to fletch the same arrow.

I use Bohning Fletch Fuse. Most bows are left helical, verify with helical you need before buying one.

Check out the bohning triple tower. I was watching bow hunting tv show the other day and randy ulmer was using it.
The ability to use it on different size arrows, helical or straight, different length vanes seems better than the ez fletch.
I have a few more arrows to tear up and will prolly get one. I have been using shrink vanes caught a shot pile on sale.
He was using bohning glue but I’m sure it’s who sponsors him.

Do yourself a favor and just get the bitzenburger.
No one glue is going to work best for every vane. They’re made of different materials and some don’t stick, use what the vane mfg says works and get a primer if they say that. I use boening feltchfuse for blazers.

I have a Bitz and really like it. As far as glue, I like Lock Tight in gel. The gel is easier to manage. When I clamp, any excess I clean off with a Qtip.

I use the bohning fuse glue. What made you go right helical?

Depends on the vane and shaft. Also the wrap if you plan on using one.
What vanes are you planning on shooting?
It is also a good idea to "tip and tail" each vane with fletch Tite platinum.

I use generic gel super glue from Amazon. Works great. I clean the shart and the vane with acetone. I also use an Arizona ez fletch.

I was thinking the current ones are right. I better check that out first. May be left. Ive torn some fletching and want to be able to make the repairs myself.

Bohning x vanes shield cut. Repairing torn fletching to some arrows.

Goat Tuff is the best have I ever tried.
Also, if you haven’t already made the purchase. consider a Bitzenburger. It will last forever. I use a straight offset. It will still spin an arrow but not rob speed like a full helical.
