I remember him. Seemed like a great guy. Didn't he build a pirogue and donate it for a fellow Tiger Droppings OB'er that passed away?

Fish traded me an oak beam for a thing of shine and a 24 pack of bud light (no homo).

The bed I'm currently in is sitting on that beam as legs.

I was going to drive down from Arkansas for the build but something came up for work and I couldn’t go.

Evening Gents.

I want to say that all that came to build are truly very good people. The wife and I enjoy y'all coming. The group over all lived up to what I was hoping for. Team work paid off great. I just hope y'all took something home with y'all that y'all learn. If ever y'all have a question or even a place to come, our door is always open.

As for myself, I'm beat, BUT it's a good beat knowing I past on something. It was very good for me to really push myself. I know I will pay for it, but what the hell.

After everybody left, the wife and I sat down on the patio and drank a couple beers talking about the weekend. We both really enjoy everybody coming. I want to thank each and every one of y'all for coming.

RIP fish...

FishFighter built a pirogue that was auctioned off at El Josey Wales’ benefit event eight days after he was laid to rest. I cannot remember what it sold for at the auction, but it was ALOT. FF was all smiles after the pirogue sold the rest of the night knowing the funds of his hard work battling his illness went to an amazing family that just lost their husband and father.

Paul (FF) was an amazing man to the end. He was able to leave an incredible legacy on his family first and foremost, as well as many of us here that got to know him through his posts and in person through those gut wrenching times.

FF and EJW were both two of the best men alive and taken from us entirely too soon.

I went to FF’s son’s funeral. Don’t remember why I missed his own. Met him at EJW’s fundraiser. Anyone have pics?
One of the most enjoyable people ever On TD.

Smackoverhawg paid $2400 for it at auction. Per Josey's instructions his widow gave half of that $2400 to the single mother of a 12 year old girl battling cancer in a neighborhood near him even tho he didn't know them. That mother couldn't believe somebody dying of cancer himself with a wife & 2 young kids cared so much about her 12 year olds battle when he did 't even know them. So FF & Smack helped 2 hurting familiies.

I didn’t know that. I never met EJW but that was a pretty emotional night.

Yea he told his wife that he was going to give half of amount FF's hard work product brought at auction to that !little girl he was worried about. He left this world 9 days before the auction but his wife followed through with delivery of $1200 to that little girl. Unfortunately cancer took her too the following year.
