Irresponsible or genius?

Hmmmm...seems like it could work but it’d probably hard to control your concentration.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a since deceased relative.
She was recounting a childhood story of back in the 50's the mosquito truck would come by she'd run out and play in the fog. She then quipped "its a wonder it didn't kill us". At the time she told me this she had brain, lung and bone cancer. She died a couple months later at around age 60.
She also smoked her whole life so who knows the affect the mosquito fog had but I'm sure it didn't help matters.

My grandfather smoked for 60 years before quitting, handled waaaaay worse stuff than bifenthrin and is still going relatively strong. Some people are just more and less prone to cancer and the like.

I wonder how it works on web worms? This would be perfect for the pecan trees and oaks.

I bought a stainless pot fogger on ebay a few years back and it works great

I have a lot of pampass grass, mimosas, and crape myrtles. They all hold mosquitos.
A few heavy doses of talstar around the bottoms of the trees and in the pampass should slow down the population.
Did it earlier. With the wind just right I was able to spray everything in about 10 minutes.
Flow rate is actually pretty easy to figure out. Pressure washer gives a fairly precise GPM ratong. All I had to figure out wad how long it takes to pull in a few ounces.

Why not just buy a 15 or 25 gallon spray rig?

Whatever disaster you manage to come up with, dont forget that it works wonders on mosquitos. Spray the whole yard.

Appropriate if you've ever wondered what it would be like to spray $40 onto your lawn at 2000 psi

In the fifties the spray was likely DDT or malathion. Neither were very harmful to humans. They used to put DDT dust on soldiers and prisoners to keep lice down.
DDT was removed from the market in the US because it lasted so long in the environment and was found the shells of the eggs of birds of prey. You can still buy it in Mexico.

I've got a 12, 50, and 500 gallon pto rig. What made me wonder was the way the pressure washer can spray a fine mist such a long distance.
Just came inside and only one or two mosquitos were after me, rather than the usual thousands

My mom used to tell us to get in the house when the skeeter misting truck came by. We’d run inside, wait about 5 mins and run back out to play. Other times we’d just pull up the T-shirt and breath through the fabric if we stayed outside. He’ll, we used Flit cans in the house so we all breathed in lots of shite that would make these people today run and scream and shite their pants.

I used to chase the MF'er down a gravel road on my bike for miles, not sure how I am still looking at the green side of the grass.
