1. Found a nice range here in Houston that lets you rent weapons and has a huge selection of pistols. I don't plan on buying any more anytime soon but next time I go I'd like to rent a badass one to play with. My question is what pistol out there would you pay 12 bucks to play around with at the range for a day?

2. We went to this said range the other day because a buddy was in town and wanted to shoot and we got bored of just shooting targets. Do you play any range games like range poker etc. at the range for money? If so, where can I find some images to print out and staple up? I have a plotter at work.

Bonus question: Last night girlfriend asked me a difficult question since I've been eating pretty much nothing but tuna and deer meat in a bunch of different ways since hunting season and my offshore trip. "if you could only eat one for the rest of your life, which would it be"
Tough question.

I could probably do that with tuna.

Although, one of my wife's friends told her that tuna was really high in mercury. Any truth to that?

ETA:

Answer to #1. not sure, maybe a .50 desert eagle or something?

1. Desert Eagle has been my favorite.
2. I just shoot, but a timed game would be fun.. like, a quick-draw.

Definitely tuna. Unless it's canned, then deer.

They tell pregnant/nursing women and children not to eat tuna more than once a week or so due to high mercury levels. Luckily, I'M A MAN!

Most fish have small levels of Mercury in them, bigger fish have a higher level of Mercury because they eats lots of smaller fish. Or atleast thats how it was explained to me.

Top Gun does have a nice range and selection.

I am waiting for Tactical Firearms in Katy to open their indoor range, its suppose to be really nice from what the workers have said.

gee howd you guess? only decent range in houston?
american shooting center is badass but sometime i don't have the patience for a cease fire every 15 minutes and the fact that they are PACKED more often then not lately

you know what the farthest lane will be? i wish top gun would use that 50 yard long lobby they have to stretch a few lanes from 17yds to 25-30yds

I want to say 25 yards is what the guy told me...

I like American as well but they get a little extreme with their rules and regulations at times. but when I look at some of the idiots that go there I can understand why...there have been a couple of deaths and accidents at that location.

Shilohs off of 290 is suppose to be a decent indoor range but I have never been.

no shite? didn't know that. yea there are some idiots

one time i saw a few urban guys go to the short 10 yard shotgun lane with a silhouette target, a short barrel 870 and just blow out the target, put up a new one, do the same thing, high five each other and then leave :csb:

Yeah I think it was last year that a guy pulling. Loaded rifle out of his trunk took one in the chest.

Next time you go just look up and see all the holes in the tin roof. They mark them with black paint so they know which ones are new and which ones are old...
