A: I see a post involving fingerprints for a TWIC. I never gave fingerprints when applying for or receiving my TWIC.
If you weren't fingerprinted, then you don't have a TWIC. And before you argue with me, Google TWIC requirements and it will say that fingerprints have to be submitted.

Got my TWIC back in June and they took all of my fingerprints down.

I 100% have a TWIC. No prints taken. It did get it about 5 years ago. Maybe that wasn't a requirement then.

Buy on the street. Always a tax free day down at the Black market.

When I did mine (8 years ago) they took them with some computer gizmo when I met with the agent to pick up my card.

You are special then. I got my first TWIC in 2009. Was fingerprinted. Expired in 2014, got fingerprinted again when I went for renewal.

incorrect. they see you've been fingerprinted but cant see why and need an examiner to verify. sometimes people go through, but it's rare

I have TWIC and CCL
got printed for both, never have had an issue with the FFL check, either before or after I got them. OP maybe you are a KGB sleeper agent and haven't been activated yet

I guess me and my dad happen to be in that 1/10.

Only one misdemeanor for 1st offense DWI and that was there on my 1st one 9 years ago.
For background checking purposes, all DWI/DUI are classified as felonies whether they are or not, it's just the way most states put them in the system. It's always a felony arrest but not usually a felony conviction and this is usually the sticking point. I have two buddies with DUI's and even though it's the only thing on their record it causes them problems with background checks every time. Likely nothing can be done about it.

Interesting possibility... Thanks.
With the link someone else posted earlier in the thread I am going to appeal the delay after the required 30 day period. According to what I read they will send me a letter explaining what the cause of the hold was and then I'll know exactly what the issue is.
