Had some tell me to drill holes with a paddle bit and pour bleach in the holes? Is this legit or is it bullshite?

Give it a healthy dose of miracle grow every now and then - especially when it's hot.

Following. I have the same question. We had some pine trees cut down two years ago and the the stumps were grinded and the roots and stump area are still raised and visible. I figured they would have rotted and died off by now.

Drill holes on 4 sides, and the middle, pour in kerosene, and light, and roast marshmallows.

Ants.
Tons and tons of ants.
It will be gone inside of 3 months.
Just dump a five lb sack of sugar on it.
Nature will do the rest.

I find that room temperature milk of magnisa applied to the stump on the tips of stump grinder teeth works quite well.

Go dump salt all over it. Deer and everything else will eventually gnaw it all the way down.

Set a mineral block on the stump.

drill holes - yes
bleach - waste of time
what rots wood the fastest is being water soaked and air dried, it needs to stay wet as often as you can and let the air get to it, hence why drilling holes in it is a good idea.
if its covered by dirt it take 3 times longer to rot, fought with my dad over this for years. he kept wanting to bury stumps and they would take 5-7 years to rot. finally convinced him to "not" bury the last one and with it exposed to the air, it rotted away to ground level in just 1 years time.

This realloy works. Soak it in bitter milk them cover it with a black HD trash bag. Tie the bottom as tight as you can. A year or 2 depending on size and temps where you are.

Make a fire on top of it over and over. Burn enough wood each time to leave coals.

Pissing on them seems to work pretty well, at least it did the one near where I drink beer in the back yard.

i drill holes and dump buttermilk
you will be amazed
eta.
you can also cut it like a swiss stove:
take a chainsaw and cut it like you are slicing a pie. light it on fire. if you are in a real hurry then put a box fan next to it once it gets going.

Don't know if it's the fastest way but setting a mineral block or a salt block on it will work.

Sounds like you didn't get good service. I used to stump grind and always took them extra deep for this reason.
