I set one up for my father a few years ago. It was pretty sweet. After I had it dialed in I could walk around the yard and drill my 3d target from any angle out to 50. If you are suffering with any sort of flinching, a.k.a. target panic, the EZV should help as you don' have a pin floating in front of you and get to see the arrow fly all the way to the target.

Dad however took it off after one season. He couldn't grasp the concept of framing the kill zone for the shot especially on quartering animals. He missed a few hogs and deer up close. He killed one deer with it, but he hit it in the head. That was it for him.

Part of the problem was that I set it up for him and threw away the sighing in paper that it comes with. His idea of the killzone on a deer is different than mine and what the instructions say. He was framing everything too large and shooting under everything. The rest of the problem was him not practicing enough, and the little practice he did was not on a 3d target. You have to practice framing the kill zone at all angles on a 3d target or else this thing isn't going to work for you.

So the EZV is obviously not for everyone. If you set it up yourself, practice pretty much exclusively on 3D targets, and practice a few times a week then I would recommend the EZV. If not then I wouldn't touch it. Those are just my impressions after shooting it off and on again for a year and seeing my father's experience.

I love mine….. I frame my shots based on a basketball. Coming from pins, it does take some getting used to BUT, once you figure it out, it’s money. I don’t even carry a rangefinder anymore. The one down side for me is shooting with friends at targets for competition in the yard or just a weekend dude day. It’s hard to frame a square target and hit a coffee cup sized hole. It’s very much a hunters sight designed for 0-60 in a pie plate every time.

In my 3rd season with mine. No regrets here. Like anything, practice makes perfect
