Does anyone have a good strategy to wipe these bastards out? I have 10+ every night at my feeders. They eat all the corn as soon as it hits the ground

Dogproof traps. Sardines.
Cut the glands out. Slow cook. Bbq sauce. Buns. Dinner.

Snares and traps
another thing you can do if it’s tri-pod feeder is we take 9 furniture tack strips and zip tie 3 to each leg. Keeps those assholes from climbing

This is on my bucket list, but I def. want someone who knows what they're doing to prepare it.
Real country baw I know said he'd eat raccoon over ribeye if given the choice. Since then, I've been VERY curious to try it.

If someone says they like coon over beef they are fricking with you.
You have to cook it slow though if you fry it or something like that it can have a greasy oily taste to it.

Easy. Dp coon trap. By about 10 of them and set them all out at the same time. Use marshmallows or cat food. You’ll wipe them out. Make sure you anchor them very well

I have a cure but will get downvoted:
Get some rat poison and mix it with purple kool-aid, put it in a bucket near your feeder.
I haven't tried it but know some who have and it works

Yeah I think the problem is that its also illegal to poison them. I asked this same question on here about a month or two ago and got the same responses including yours.
I have just lived with them and probably will this year. Next year will be a different story.

I'd obviously rather a ribeye, but when cooked right, coon is a good meal.

They really are some cute frickers... that said, we used some type of mix in San Angelo that dad got from somewhere. It looked like kitty litter. We'd put some of that in a dog bowl and then pour sprite or 7up on it and mix it up. They would drink or eat it, walk about 5 yards and then shite themselves and throw up and die. It worked well..

How strong does the hold on the dog proof trap need to be. For example, I am thinking about taking a 3 inch screw and screwing that chain to a tree. Will that be strong enough to keep those bastards over night?
For my feeders out in the middle of a pasture I am thinking of wire rope to the T-Post... Will that be strong enough?
Thanks in advance

Buddy of mine does the Kool-Aid trick every year and swears by it.
I have a group of 11 doe/yearlings coming to my corn 2 to 3 times a day (I get them on camera), think how much they eat.

No me. I got a picture of 3 coons sitting on my feed trough eating corn with 3 mature bucks just sitting there waiting to eat. Deer were scared to get near the corn. This year I am going to smoke there arse!
Every night after the evening hunt this year I am bringing 5 traps to the stand with me. I am burning these bastards this year.

here is the problem you run into with poisoned kool-aid water near the feeder. All animals get thirsty and are especially attracted to sugar flavored water. So besides coons, you will likely poison squirrels, deer, hogs, rabbits, birds, bobcats, coyotes, fox, armadillo, basically anything that drinks from it. Once the animal dies, other animals of prey will feed on the carcass and you end up killing hawks, vultures, owls, etc... So with the intention of killing coons, you can end up killing most of the ecosystem.
OP needs to invest in 8-10 coon cuffs and in several weekends he will take care of his coon problem

If you could just remove deer and rabbits from this list, frick the rest of those animals.

Frick all of those too.

These do work, but nothing will permanently eliminate those bastards. It’ll always be an ongoing battle.

I don't have his number on me but I recommend you call John Eubanks.
If you need another referral inquire with a Mr. Clower up in Liberty, Mississippi. But I hear he's moved to a better place.
