Anyone else notice a big push with this front we just had? I took a ride down to my land in SELA and am slapped full of big ducks with geese mixed in. Opening weekend can’t come soon enough...

Hadn’t seen any migrants except coots. Probably ain’t shooting coots this season due to ammo crisis.

Listened to the snows and specks for 2 hours Friday night while sitting by the fire pit. It’s annual event my son and I look forward to. Live south of BR , 400 yds from the river.

What general area in SELA did you see the ducks? Any word on Delacroix?

We went down to brush up some blinds in SELA, teal by the hundreds and some big ducks. Surprisingly we only saw one coot.

Saw a few greys 8-10 and another 70 or so teal, few squealers roosting behind camp. Not enough coot to waste scarce ammo on yet.

Weirdly we only saw one coot down by our lease, but yesterday I was walking my dog along lake ponchatrain in metairie and saw a group of about 10 coots.
