North Texas (near Haskell) is shite right now. 6 of us went for two days and killed less than 50 total

West, NW of Houston has been tough for dub. Lots of teal, though. Can't wait for Saturday

I think we killed a little over 100 between the 6 of us. We could have killed a lot more but several had to leave early. I had my GFs son with me and wanted him to feel comfortable trying to shoot.

Me and a buddy killed our 30 by 7:50 am. Could have been done earlier but had to knock a little rust off. It was truly unbelievable at shooting time.

Shot 15 could have killed more but I only brought half a box a shells with me and got tired of waiting for crossover shots so I just started shooting singles.

What did y’all plant? I need to do some research and prep a couple food plots for doves next yr. It clicked for my young sons this past weekend while we were out there. We were just shooting at passing birds but they loved it!

Plant watermelons then disc does good. A field of popcorn that has been bush hogged then burned is probably the best hunt I have been on.
