Tiger Droppings is the first Message Board that I have ever been a part of, and I was hesitant to start posting cause I thought it was a bit weird. But I am glad that I have gotten to know u guys on the OB and some of u in person. To be able to have the privilege to pray for Trevor and witness God's intervention has made this OB experience that much better. I know u guys may have some roadblocks ahead, so hang in there and stay strong for Trevor and Mrs. Slick.

Thanks Deacon.
Won't be long until he'll be joining Team Ascend.

Little Trevor should write a book "18 minutes to Heaven and Back"

Slick, I can't tell you how excited I am for your son and family.
As a father of 7 and 5 year olds I can't imagine what you're going through.
I'm still praying for Trevor and you and your wife.

Thanks, keep the prayers up as he still has a whole series of tests to go and a lot of healing to do.

Have you gotten any indication when you will be able to bring Trevor home?

They told us 3 weeks at the earliest.
Although he is off the ventilator, he still is on oxygen since his lungs were so premature, and they're still feeding him through a tube. They'll still have to teach him how to eat (he's completely off of fluids and only on breastmilk), they'll have to make sure he can maintain his body temperature (the heating lamp is no longer on him), and I think there are several neurological tests left to run.
I am supposed to meet with the neurologist today to ask some questions. I'm not sure if the MRI is pretty conclusive that he is okay, or if there is still a chance that he can have problems (vision, speaking, etc).
