Please don't breed or vote. You're too stupid and self-focused to do either responsibly.

No one said hog hunting with dogs is trashy. I'd wager most on this board have done it, as have I.

What's trashy is torturing any animal before you kill it. Just kill the damn thing humanely. What's trashy is catching and transporting hogs to different areas and releasing them. Just kill the damn things.

Ok so undoubtedly you bow hunt but also have 2 remington 700s. So my question is why not be humane and kill deer with a rifle instead of wounding them with a bow and waiting for them to die? Being humane is subjective, to some people fishing is inhumane. Seems you also have experience with dogs so you know in training there is always a reward. Reward to hounds is getting to fight or bite what they are hunting. This can't be that hard to understand

When I was leaving my squirrel hunt this morning in Pearl River I passed a group of hog doggers. All of them had neck tats except for the five or six year old boy they had walking with them. Definitely a different breed of people.

I didn't know you could run dogs on Pearl River WMA.

Their best two dogs likely cost more than what you drove to get there.

but seriously you have to be a little thrown off in the head to catch a boar hog, take out your pocket knife, cut his nutsack open, pull out his testicles, and then let the pig back loose thats some sick shite right there tell me a halfway sane person would think this is alright

I’m not about to get in an online dick measuring contest, but if they spent as much money on two pit bulls as I did on my new truck a few years ago, then they were even dumber than their neck tats make them look.

My dogs are well taken care of. Have i sown them up in the field? Yes all the time. I lost 3 dogs to bear hunting this year all but one of the 3 went to the vet. The one that didn't i had to put down cause his windpipe collapsed. The other 2 fired on the operating table so yes they are expendable and have already been replaced. Y'all kind of reminded me of people who bitch about animal rights while they eat a steak. Oh and i have no neck tats.

You said and implied that the dog hunters were trash. I really don't think you even watched the video. All I saw were bay dogs and catch dogs attempting to hold the hog. I didn't see any dogs torturing a hog. Seems to me that several of the OT and DU folks have migrated to the OB board.

Oh come on that's BS. Someone with a camera is standing within 15' of a hog standing still...just shoot the damn thing. Letting/encouraging the dogs to attack at that point while you video is unnecessary. If this is typical of hog hunting with dogs, then I'm against it.

Hog doggers don’t shoot em, they run a knife between then front legs and into the heart. This cannot be done until the catch dogs latch on to the hog and they submit- and do they ever.

Doesn’t sound likemhog doggin is for you.

They are not supposed to but they were thick Saturday morning, parked all along the interstate.

You all need to listen to the meat eater podcast titled Judas Hog. If serious about it you can put a dent in hog population.

Also the last half of episode 5 of the Louisiana Bowhunting podcast with a LA state biologists.

Correct, it isn’t for everyone.

I just called my parents and thanked them for making sure I was not raised to enjoy plunging a knife into a living being.

they sometimes kill them

sometimes they cut the boars and let them go

sometimes they catch the pigs and release them into other properties where they can reproduce

sometimes they catch a pig and put it in a pen to train other dogs

I am sure there are some decent human beings that have hog dogs but the overwhelming majority I wouldn't want anywhere near my property
