Do you own 100+ firearms and how did that happen?

I bought a SA .45 pistol for carry purposes in 1988. The I started reading about military rifles used by countries in WWI and WWI, etc., and started picking up a few here and there. Bought a pump shotgun, then a SA, then an old "crack barrel" and the love affair continued into .22 rifles, double barrels, target pistols.... I joined a range and shot them all. Introduced each son to the joy of slinging lead and well, what is enough eh?

I have 8 at my apartment. Another 6 at my parents house. When my father dies (hopefully not soon) I will inherit another 60.

I think my high point was 40-50 or so, but I've consolidated it down to less then half of that by now. Wife and kids will do it to ya.

I'm half way there. Some were my grandfathers. Others were part of my dads. The rest i purchased. I try to buy a few a year. I look at my firearms as my savings account.
