yeah but see its like having a moat around your castle.

we want to protect louisiana so you let in east texas and south arkansas anyone attacking has to go through them to get to louisiana. they are the buffer zone around our castle.

the only side we are valnerable from is the east and the gulf but do we really want to let in west mississippi. and we will have the oil platforms in the gulf to help ward off incoming ships and to give us a warning.

I like the way you think.

In the new Louisiana republic, you can be a 4 star general.

You ever see that little fish that keeps swimming in front of the big fish just sitting still. Constantly shaking it's arse in front of it, just tempting it's luck until it's luck runs out?

Don't be the little fish.

Whatever, woo pig.

Did you know that with 7.62 x 51mm at 1000 feet there's approximately a 1/2 MOA kill zone at center mass on a human torso?

I do. And I don't need 1/2 MOA.

Maybe you can hurt brick, but I can make bacon.

You need to get your Ali quotes correct. I love that one.

"I done wrestled with an alligator, I done tussled with a whale; handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail; only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalized a brick; I'm so mean I make medicine sick."

I'm drunk, but yes I did plagarize (partially) Ali. That was some funny shite. Was wondering if anyone would catch that.

Besides that, a gun without a round chambered is worthless for a few reasons:

So you keep ALL of your guns loaded with a round in the chamber? Deer rifles too?

If not, I'd be glad to take all of your "worthless" guns off your hands for you.

You guys who are judging other people for how they want to keep their guns are being ridiculous. I have a 1878 Colt 44-40, it is currently unloaded, but certainly NOT "worthless".

Chances are I'm not going to be involved in a quick draw shootout. Just because I have a gun doesn't mean I'm required to use it or even produce it. Just because we have stand your ground laws doesn't mean I'm required to stand my ground.

If I can't get the stone cold drop on someone, I'm not likely to draw on them. I need time to check down range of my target to make sure what my shot may hit.

But all you quick draw McGraws make me laugh. Lighten up guys, just because someone doesn't keep a round in the chamber doesn't mean they want the government to take all our guns away. we're on the same team here.

That all said, my DA wheel gun with one empty chamber is fine with me. And like I said, I chamber a round in my semi-auto when the situation calls for it.

One for the shotgun and .38 that are my "home defense." The .38 goes from the nightstand to the truck and back everyday, I really need another pistol to leave in the truck.
