Do you hunt (deer, duck, etc.) or fish? I’ve never hunted and have only fished on a handful of occasions in my life, although I fished once in Toledo Bend and had a blast.

I’ve always felt a little out of place in Louisiana because I’m not a hunter. It seems so many people in this state and a lot of people I know hunt and fish. Do you?

I'll throw a line in but never catch anything. No desire to hunt. Can't use all that meat and sport hunting seems dumb.

I'm thankful everyday I didn't come from a hunting family.

Not much anymore other than an occasional offshore or Grand Isle trip. I hunted and fished a lot when I was a kid/teenager though.

I grew up hunting with my dad and still hunt deer. My wife and kids really taken a liking to it over the last few years. I get more enjoyment from them killing deer than me killing one .

I will hunt and fish. But they’re not my primary hobbies like so many of us. So often I feel out of place in conversation because so many wrap their identity around these hobbies.

I fish, mostly offshore and spear.

Only “hunting” I do is murdering pigs.

I have a duck lease and fish both fresh and salt water.
I consider myself a Louisiana Baw.

I bird hunt and crappie fish occasionally these days. Deer hunting has just never really appealed to me. I have in the past, but these days I'd just assume ramble through the woods than sit in a tree in the cold.

About 270 days a year I'm doing one of the two. I'd like to push it to 300 but the wind and my wife planning stupid vacations keeps me from reaching it.

It's fantastic and I highly recommend outdoor activities.
