I do enjoy the shows about bigfoot, but that BFRO group is a joke. I love how they have the town hall meeting to ask the people to share their stories about encounters with bigfoot/sasquatch. All of the encounters seem to be either during the day or at dusk. Yet these guys go out in the middle of night yelling and screaming and making all kinds of noise. Like that is really going to attract a bigfoot.
Secondly, why don't they load those places up with trail cams while they are there?

They use baby powder and look for footprints in it. Bait is jelly donuts.
And they were serious

That show is pretty awful, but I loved watching the History Channel's Monster Quest and Nat Geo specials. Remember when the history channel was actually educational and not just about people cutting down trees and shooting gators?

I want to make some giant boots that are shaped like human feet so I can go tromp around in various parts of the country just to keep those kooks believing!

Behind most long held ancient myths there is some fact. Often you can explain it but some remains unexplained. We know that sea monsters like giant Oarfish, squids, and octopus etc exist and were probably the source for many of these. The Nat Geo special showed most of the genetics samples were known bears but with the yeti they found them to be some possible hybrid polar bear thing that was supposed to be extinct for over 10,000 years.
The Native Americans have described this animal for 1000 of years. There must be something to it but what is unknown.
And Monster quest was really great, that have an episode with a bigfoot in rural Canada that at a fishing lodge that is hard to explain were the DNA came back as unknown ape I think. I am sure you can watch it on U tube. Literally you are watching it and a huge arse rock comes flying at this guy. This is like a fly in only lake hundreds of miles in the woods that is used only in summer.
So probably something out that but what it is who knows

Sasquatch Attack II
Premiere Date:November 12, 2008
Something has been attacking a remote cabin in Northern Ontario, Canada–it may have left behind a blood trail. DNA analysis suggests that the creature is a non-human primate. A follow up test will confirm or deny this, and the results could change history. Meanwhile, a new expedition, outfitted with the most advanced surveillance and detection equipment, will set up camp at the cabin and wait for the creature's imminent return. Scientists will be brought in to tell viewers what the evidence reveals.

My grandparents lived in Northwest Louisiana about an hour or so from that area of the Faulk Monster and that Faulk Monster crap always scared the hell out of me so I bet everyone that was a kid in the 70's will always think that Big foot may exist. The old timers warped me forever on that.

I have never seen anything myself though

I don't think people are able to comprehend the sheer volume of wilderness that is absolutely void of human interference. Half of Canada is like this not to mention Russia.
I'm not saying Bigfoot is real, but I don't think the game camera argument is as conclusive as some think. Most game cameras are set up by deer hunters. I'd imagine not too many moose or elk hunters in Canada or North U.S. are setting up game cameras. Not only that, but if they are some type of intelligent primate, you would think they could sense human presence and would likely travel to areas that have less human presence.

No such thing. Pretty much impossible with as many hunters and cameras as there are in the woods for that to be out there as a natural animal native to the continent.
Sorry. There's a lot of hoaxers out there and there's a lot of people who don't know squat about the woods looking for this thing and convincing themselves that every noise is a bigfoot.
Ain't real.
