Do ducks and snakes have some sort of agreement?

Can you imagine being a duck and swimming around in that dark water knowing at any second a water moccasin could sink it’s teeth into you?

These ducks are a lot more courageous than we give them credit for.

Plus, they got Catfish Hunter out there somewhere and he comes from below and gobbles up full grown mallards, sometimes 2 and 3 at a time.

Bass probably kill WAY more ducks than snakes.

I have seen bass and gar wipe out a herd of Wood Duck ducklings. I guess they are easy targets when they are real small.

Considering most migratory birds, especially ducks, nest way up north where snakes either do not exist or are as scarce as Bigfoot i don't think they are that concerned with snakes. Now, for the ones that do not migrate i would assume that snakes are more of an issue.
