Despite all of the heckling I got about not being safe....

I decided to head out 35 miles to a rig one of my friends recommended and I limited out 3 times with red snapper this weekend. Gas cost a lot but I sure did have fun!

I'm glad it turned out well. Still don't think it was the best decision that could have been made.

Just because you do something once and nothing bad happens, that doesn't make it safe. I'd feel like a real McAsshole if I took my friends who didn't know better fishing and we all died.

Some jackass trolled us hard yesterday. We stopped at a rig on our way out and about 10 minutes later a little bay boat pulls a few feet away and starts putting down his power poles, we were in 200+ feet of water.
We were all looking at them with our what the frick faces and then they all started busting out laughing.
