Everyone out looking in the marsh and waters but is anyone staying back at the launch and other residential areas asking questions and such?

you'll need to call an air support from the choppers going back and forth to the rigsor possibly a new station or police department. Somebody has to have some connections to a chopper

Where's smack? I'm sure he has a chopper or two. He could fly down on his lunch break and find the pup in no time.

I just called southern seaplane to see if they have anyone flying over that area today.... they do not. It would be $400/hr to get a plane over there, which I'm sure we could raise the money for. The problem is that the guy was very honest and said that they have not been very successful in these types of searches in the past. Thoughts?

I'd be more than willing to arrange this if sushi or KR think it would be worthwhile.

I just emailed our HOA president, he's always putting out lost dog alerts for the Venetian Isles area.

The marsh had ice sheets in one spot i trolled through this AM.

This for me as well.

I assume you could see down in the grass from a plane/chopper? I know if i was looking for something in my hunting thicket, air support wouldnt be much help.

Not sure if Grizzly could get across to Venitian Isles but it seems that was the direction he was heading. Likely place to head as well. Would be a good place to hang out and wait. Talk to some of the local to keep their eyes open.

The banks across Venitan Isles has some decent ground and hopefullt that is where he is trying to stay dry
