I mowed the old man's yard this morning and are happy to report the Ortho Max insect killer for lawns {granules} knocked out all of the mudbugs.. No chimneys at all in his yard. Knocked out all the fire ants around my place as well.
Getting this stuff on the way home tonight!
UPDATE!
So I bought the stuff but procrastinated in using it until Saturday night. Woke up Sunday morning to find this...
Found about 8 more over the next 12 hours.
Can't wait to do the backyard next!

Catch them and call me. I'm in need of them for bait.
I can sell you small ones for $10 a sack

So did you just broadcast your yard at the recommended rate, or did you pour it in/around the holes?

Kids use those for BB gun target practice. Embrace the wildlife

Broadcasted the yard - figured I'd go ahead and get the benefits of the ant and other stuff killing.
Today, after the hard rain Saturday night, when I would normally have 10-15 chimney's there are two. Looks like most of them died in the ground.

Calcium carbide and a box of matches is more fun.

VanRich, we did the same thing and some would take 20 mins to get them outta there.
