Once they show up there's nothing you can do other than suffer in my experience.

I have the trifecta right now. Poison ivy, chiggers, and a few big red circles where I pulled some deer ticks off.

Mix up a plantain poultice. It works. I made one last night for Mama BFIV for some mosquito bites on her arm and leg. She was amazed at how well it worked.

I got ate up 5 or so years ago. I had probably 100 bites or whatever the hell they are. Somebody recommended absorbine jr. It brought relief but wasn’t an instant cure. It was cheap and available at any drug store. I would use it again.

I’ve had two cases where I’ve had over 50 bites at one time.. one time the wet all the n my stomach from my waist line to my chest the other time they were on the back of my legs from my knee crease to my butt cheek.

Bleach either in a bath or on a rag and then put chiger rid or calimine lotion on them.. it’s still a one to two week process but that will help

Go to an after hours clinic and get a cortisone shot, no need to suffer like that

Add some clorox to the bath. it kind of dries them out and gives some temporary relief.

My thermacell decided to break while I was in the swamp yesterday. My eyelids and face are completely covered with mosquito bites. I was thinking of putting mud on my face but decided not to out of fear of getting cancelled.

I just use rubbing alcohol and they go away pretty quick.

I forgot to spray the other day while walking in CRP and Cutovers trying to figure out a plan to enhance wildlife habitat with a biologist, and I picked up about 25-30 all over my body.

Holy shite.

If it’s that bad I would definitely go to an after hours clinic or something just to make sure everything is being done.

yeah it’s that bad
I was swamped at work today and had to power thru it but I’m going to hit an urgent care on the way home and see if I can get a steroid shot

either that or euthanasia
just wearing clothes is agony

Pramoxine is a good local anesthetic you can get over the counter, it is in some itching creams but usually found in stronger doses and cheaper in hemorrhoid creams. You can also find it in anti itching creams and sprays designed for animals. It gives instant relief and lasts a good long time, 4-6 hours or so.

I always use Repel Sportsman 40% DEET. I spray my boots, legs, pants, around waist band, etc. Never get them to this day. Learned my lesson once the hard way as you have done. Use the Repel 40% DEET

the welts are starting to dry up a bit.

The only thing that helps. I have bleached, alcohol, fingernail polish and used every single cure ever mentioned....none work. A cool swimming pool brings some relief, Benadryl can help you sleep, but you just gotta go to the doctor.
