She's a babe. It's crazy how her looks just draw you in.

I HIGHLY doubt it replaces the 4" sp101 for my next gun, but it's in 2nd place right now.

Do you own any semi autos?

I know you're an old school wheelgun fan so it's proper for you to want an old school semi auto.

I own a grand total of (1) handguns and it is a rather large single action .357

I have gotten to shoot asspiles of different handguns though. A 4" .357 is what I want next.

I'd love to have a 1911, it's just not next on the list. I like them alot, but I like horsepower too much to become a slide-gun fan.

Yes I know about the coonan

The Coonan would take about a year to manufacture and I know you'd rather instant gratification if you got a 1911.

And your first 1911 should be a 45 anyway...

I'm just not that big of a fan of semi auto guns of any flavor.

I'll probably own 3 or 4 revolvers before I buy a slide gun. Highly doubt I ever buy a semi auto shotgun or rifle.

ETA: The main thing I like about 1911's is the nostalgia.

What a coincidence, that's the same reason I like wheel guns.

Revolvers are more reliable because they don't rely on the cartridge to actuate the action, not because they have fewer mechanical parts.

I think he's trying to make the point that of course a simpler machine is more reliable.

Just like a hammer is more reliable than a nail gun. I still know which one I'd rather build a house with though.

I'm agreeing with you but pointing out that revolvers are more reliable for other reasons than most people think.
