C'mon guys help me out here! I need to call before it gets too late.

It's absolutely as nice as I said, with 1 very small nik ( about the size of a pinhead) on it.
Would $800 be a decent buy?

OK,never mind, I went on and bought it.

Good buy if it's something you wanted anyway. Post some pics.

I don't have it in my possession yet,the sale was being handled at my main gun shop.
They know me well though, and agreed to put it away for me for 2 weeks. I spend a good bit of money with them.

This collection belonged to a man without any kids, and has some incredible weapons. He died unexpectedly, right after buying a new rifle.
His brother is a liberal college professor, and just wanted the collection liquidated, but of course he wants the money.

It's an incredible collection, with probably 300 guns, here in Alabama, and supposedly, another part of the collection in Atlanta.

Tons of stuff that I have never even seen before.

The very best stuff sold this past Saturday, and I can't even imagine what that might have been, because I was out of town.

The price was 800 bucks. If I had the spare cash today, I could have bought it for 700 probably.

This is a series 70,there aren't as many of those.

You can guess why?

They're going for $800-$900 via "buy it now" on gunbroker currently.

I'd offer $700 and see where that gets you.

yep, I could have bought it for 700 today, but really coulldn't spend it.
I don't mind paying the full price, since they are going to hide it for me.

And the ones I saw on Gun broker, they weren't as nice.
