Cinder Block Wall Cost

I need to build a cinder block wall. It's actually a three sided building. Like a garage with no roof and no front. Dimensions are 80 feet wide, 30 feet deep, and 10 foot high walls. Is there a basic formula for cost of cinder block walls, like there is for concrete? I am figuring $4.50 per square foot for the 4" slab. I have paid pretty much that same price for years. Thanks!

Yeah. But then I would just have to tear one of those walls down to be able to drive my loaders in there, now wouldn't I????

How well does cinder block hold up when tapped by a loader?
Maybe the blocks are filled with concrete.

Not worth a crap.
I am gonna have steel beams installed so the loader cant run the logs into the cinder block wall. Or, at least I am going to make it more challenging for the loader to do so...

In Dallas I was paying $14/ block furnished and installed. Birmingham was $12/ block. Both in last 6 months.

Genuinely curious. What are you going to do with an 80x30 building with no roof or front?

Do you care if it falls over?
ETA:
Do you plan connecting the wall to the frame for bracing? If not, you'll need more resteel and pilasters at about 20' spacings.

Use as a bin would be my guess. A very common practice.

That was my first thought when he said "wall."
"Building" is threw me off.

Fumigation bunker. Once it's full, the top and side are covered with a tarp for the introduction of methyl bromide.

My BIL was trying to sell some doors on FB today. I was at the hillbillies that were blowing up his phone wanting to know stupid shite and explaining their project. For $25 its just not worth it.

I'll try to help. Not sure about exact pricing relative to your location but this is what it would cost me here as a contractor in southern Louisiana.
Assuming reinforced 8x8x16 lightweight block with Type S mortar.
For industrial use, I would reinforce as follows; bond columns at 32" with #4 rebar, bond beams at every 5 courses with two #4 rebar, horizontal durawall reinforcement at every other course.
You are looking at roughly 1,600 block, 70 bags of mortar, 13 yards of 3500 psi ready-mix block fill, 8 yards masonry sand, 100 pcs rebar, 1,300 lnft of 8" durawall.l, $400 for rebar imbed epoxy, fastening, tie wire, etc.
Materials = $7,000
Labor/Equipment to drill & set rebar in slab, lay block, reinforce block, grout block = $10,000 (includes grout pump rental)
Total Cost $17,000 if you are furnishing materials. Add $1,000 if contractor is furnishing materials.

Are you going to have 2-80' walls and 1-30' or 2-30' walls and 1-80'
one is 140'x10' high
one is 190'x10' high
Big price difference.
