yea, i know he does, but i try my best. some weeks i get him more exercise than others. work & school get the better part of my time. though he is not starved for attention. the gf makes sure of that.

Right now my catahoula is on 15' of chain with a dog house that he won't go in and knocked all the shingles off the roof. I need to build a pen but the way he digs he'd be out in 2 hours. No fabric is safe near this dog either.

That pic makes me laugh every time.

Is this the same dog that brought home a skunk?

Orvis toughchew is the only one I ve ever had any luck with. It isn't cheap but if he puts a hole in it just bring it to orvis and get a new one for free. Ours went through prob 10 cheap beds in 6 months and switcbed to the orvis. Its held up going on 2 years

We had this issue. My dad eventually gave up and put a raised wooden crate in there for her to lay on in the summer. Old towels do the trick. I know it sounds mean, but she literally went through a bed a week.

didnt get very good reviews on their site. seems like a determined dog could make quick work of it.

My dogs do the same thing and I bought so many beds that it wasnt funny. This year I started using hay. I got a bail from a buddy and i filled two dog houses with only half the bail. I keep the other half in a plastic storage box. They dont pull it out onto the ground at all. I definitely will only use hay from now on.

damn, my dog only chews his toys and tennis balls. He'll chew them until they pop, I think he likes the sound they make. He's been chewing a cow femur since Christmas.

They make some stuff so kids won't bite their fingernails that you can buy at the pharmacy. I would try that or soak the bed in the waste water after a crawfish boil.

My first good laugh of the day...except for going to the bathroom.

I've had a few dogs and found that they never chewed on two three types of beds...hardwood, tile and out-fricking-side.

The crawfish boil works. I put cayenne on everything my puppy even looks at like he may chew. They got holt to baseboard once and cayenne did the trick.. Eventually my lab grew out if it though.
They get bored locked up and need something to do. Thats why they are so destructive.

Those supposedly indestructable Kong toys are nothing but childs play to Tank. That bastard had the snowman looking one chewed up in a week. I will say that he did take longer but it still left little tiny red rubber pieces all over my floor. He's having a tough time destroying softballs though.

Have you tried this? I takes my Lab about 6 months to tear it up.

Coolaroo Bed

The fabric is replaceable.
