I’ve always used an old digital camera but it recently broke. Anyone have any experience with any that format?
Thanks

Had the same issue but went back with the camera after trying the wild game handheld. It was too slow and took forever to go through a lot of pics.

I just bought a canon at Best Buy.

Them damn things got expensive. I’m pretty sure I didn’t pay over $175 for the one I bought but evey thing I just looked at is like $375 to $700

This is more along the lines of what I bought.

I bring my laptop and a USB card reader. I was using an iPad for years, but the computer makes putting the pictures into file folders much easier, plus it doesn’t save them to the damn cloud and make them nearly impossible to get rid of.

I have that one and I hate it. Very slow and picture quality is horrible.

there are adapters with a very small footprint you plug in to your phone. Most of the newer trail cams allow you to format on the camera. No need for any extra crap

I have something like this, and it works very well.

My dad has a cam on a tree down the hill in front of their house, and when we were visiting my parents for Christmas, my gf and I walked down to check out the card to see what was on it. I took it out and put it in my nikon, and it caught some doe, coons, and a little buck. My gf picked some antler-like branches off the ground and put them on her head like antlers, and I took a picture of her with my camera. Then I put the card back in the game cam. Not sure if my dad has looked at it yet, but I'm sure it will give him a good laugh.

If this is for a trail camera I usually use the camera to do the formatting. Some cameras dont like cards formatted by a different device.
