How are you guys applying and removing your collinite? Do you do it all by hand?
I used my DA buffer, but you can hand wax if you want, I got better results using my buffer and a good microfiber.

What are you using to apply the wax with?
Do you use a acid or hull cleaner before you wax?

Use the collinite fiberglass cleaner before the collinite boat wax. I use a buffer if I'm doing a good detail but for a quick wax I'll use a microfiber towel for each.

I had my bass boat ceramic coated in Gonzales. Geaux Preaux did the work. It took 4-5 days to have it done. They detail it, then wipe it down with what I’m guessing is some sort of solvent to remove all wax and polish. Then wash it again before applying ceramic coating. They use Ceramic Pro. Also they take boat off of trailer to get the underside. They coat the outside and inside. Carpet, motor, seats etc.. The coating has a UV protectant that helps your seats from drying and cracking due to sunlight exposure. I’ve had it for about 6-7 months now. I do notice that the scum lines come off a lot easier, even after not washing for several days after fishing. I paid $80 a linear foot for the initial coating with an 18 month warranty. After 18 months they will take it back in, inspect it and if it’s still in good condition they reapply another coat for $20 a linear foot and extend the warranty another 18 months. So basically every 18 months you pay $20 a foot to have your boat detailed and reapply another coating. FYI I removed all electronics from the boat when they did it. My boat is 10 years old and it came out looking like showroom condition and looks good after every washing. Not trying to sell anyone on it. That’s just been my experience with it so far. I use my boat almost every weekend.

I just wash mine down and use woody wax, but that shots expensive and one bottle only lasts me a few months. May have to try out this collinite shite

Y’all ever tried this stuff? I used it once so far and it left a nice shine. Good to use between wax’s I’m sure

I have been using this in between waxes. It works great. Also does a good job for cleaning ice chests and leaving a light wax that makes the ice chests easy to clean IMO.
I had been previously using 3M wax, but I am going to try the Collinite next. The guy I bought my boat from used it, and that sumbetch looked brand new 12 years later.

What does everyone use to get the wax into the non skid decking? And to take it out once it dries? Medium bristle brush?

I just ordered the soap & wax from amazon. Both are sold together for $24, can’t beat dat.

that's some good wash and wax, we use it on my buddies offshore boat.
I use my DA buffer to apply it with a foam pad, a black or blue one.
after it has dried I use a very good microfiber cloth, not a cheap store bought. it grabs the wax from the non skid well and removes it.

Which DA buffer are you running? I bought a cheap Habor Freight Rotary last year, but I don't care for it.

Why? They ceramic coated over ours and its held up better than the coating on the boat. And the screens look brand new 24/7

I really cant remember if I decided to do that or they told me to take them out. Guess I should've left them in the boat. Mine gets water spots on the screens when it dries and have to wipe them down each trip.
