My vote is for tactacams I've got 20 something of them and yea I've had some issues with some but the majority of mine run year round. The issues I have had are always taken care of by Tactacam. May pay shipping but quick turnaround and esry to deal with. 80% of the time people have issues it's the SD card.

I only run 3-4 but WiseEye is what I stuck with. I was a dumbass and had a stupid question before 8am on a Saturday morning and the owner called me to walk me through it. My business won’t go anywhere else after that

Running 2 Brownings, one is on its fourth season, one on its third, 1 Stealthcam on its second season. I like the CommandPro interface better, all have had surprisingly good battery life. I’m getting lots of pictures of 8-10 coons that I’m fattening up since refilling my feeders a few weeks ago.

I've ran almost every brand and I run EVERYTHING in video mode. Tactacam are meh but their first cam was awesome but don't send videos. I still use 6 of the originals. They have very good detection sensors but every model after that has not been very good. I noticed tracks in the snow or scrapes being cleaned out but cam not triggering so i started running regular cams on the same tree and they do miss a shite ton. Ridgetec is my favorite and it's not close. Plus if you call or email you'll likely be speaking with the designer/ owner. Browning, stealth, spypoint and Moultrie are hit or miss depending on what you want or expect. WiseEye are good but the video length is too short for me but from a pic taking standpoint they are starting to have a big following and take great pics

The new WiseEye DC2 has a video length of up to 15 seconds in 720P sent to your device.
10 seconds in 1080P
It also has action shot which can record up to 5 min of 1080P
Someone on Facebook posted his bow shot w the action shot today.
Here is a blurb about it from their website:
Introducing ActionShot (Patent Pending) – The feature that puts you in the driver’s seat for capturing those adrenaline-pumping moments. With ActionShot, you can command your DC-2 WiseEye Camera to record up to 5 minutes of high-definition video on demand, all from the palm of your hand using the HuntControl app.
Imagine the thrill of capturing the moment before you take aim at your target buck or witnessing the clash of two bucks right in front of your camera. No more hoping your camera got the shot – with ActionShot, you’re in control. Now, every moment is captured exactly when you want it. With ActionShot, it’s like having your own personal cameraman with you on every hunt. (All ActionShot videos are stored on the cameras internal memory or SD card.)

My son got me a Browning for Christmas a few years ago and it worked fine.
I ended up picking up the Browning from Tractor Supply on my way home from work after you posted this. It's been working fine. I didn't get the plan with the HD download option, I don't think I'll need it. The cam is close enough to my house to where I can go grab the card if I need to see something better.

Are you sure that's the camera's fault?
Finally, after several weeks my camera caught a pic of the elusive whitetail. It amazing what a little cooler weather will do. But I'm still blaming it on my cameras.

We started with Cuddeback, but we now run 12 Wiseyes on the ranch program. As others have said, their customer service cannot be beat. They have grown since we started with them, but they are still willing to take the time to help. The difference between the 2 has been night and day, and Wiseye has our business as long as the service continues.

I am slowly switching all of mine to WiseEye. Picture quality is better than anything else I have.
Customer service is outstanding. I submitted a question at 9AM on a Sunday morning expecting a response Monday. Within 15 minutes someone reached out to help me. Then someone else followed up with me a few hours later.

What wiseye cameras are y’all running? The MC or DC?
Posted on 10/9/24 at 11:53 pm to lsupride87
I run the MC and my next ones will be the dc2. My cameras are in really bad places for cell service so I’m hoping the dual antenna’s on the DC2 will help. I’m about to change out my antenna’s on my two MC’s to the 6dbi long range antennas and see if that makes a difference
