Just confirmed Perdido key for that week. We could not find anything in navarre this late

We need to figure out how to catch something.

I'm sure I'll do my usual catch sand fleas and hope something swims by. Does wick have your #?

Did you get a free fishing license for being over 65?

Never knew they had good fish in Navarre.

May have to bring some rods next time I go.

I've been reading the Pensacola fishing forum some lately. I tried top water, dudleys, DOA's and the suspending bait. They only like that one lol

Are you casting blind or do you see fish?

Going to Navarre in a couple of weeks. Haven't been there in over 25 years, but wanted to go someplace on the coast not as crowded as the usual places. How is it over there?

The first fish was blind casting towards a dock. The big one in the pic was chasing bait and I threw in there amongst em.

I love it compared to Gulf Shores/OB. It's actually peaceful here. I could get used to it.

There are a lot of oyster beds in East Bay. We wore them out in crappie jigs.

Jacked thread://

Heading down to orange beach in a few weeks, never wade or beached fish out of there. Any recs? Don't mind getting a license to get yanked around by a bull or these days by a great white.

Jack off://

Very nice

This was caught on the Navarre Pier recently.
LINK

Last year they were catching sailfish. I forget what time of the year they are in the area.

Navarre has great fishing, especially near shore in the gulf. This month is one of the slowest, but around mid September they usually get a solid push of sails, mahi and blackfins. Bottom spots are hard to come by for snapper, but when you find them they're worth it. Always some kings around in the summer too.

Me and Civiltiger will be down in Pensacola the weekend of the 30th. Bringing the yaks.

HouseOfWaffles... Going down this weekend, going to try and squeeze in some early fishing in the bay. I'm about to buy the strikeline charts bay numbers...care to give me any pointers so I don't waste time hitting numbers that don't produce? DownSouthDave84@gmail.com
