Just realized you said this weekend, no way i would fish that area from a yak this weekend. Gonna be a nightmare with all the boats out there for the blues.

We are headed there Friday morning. I'm just going to try and sneak out there for a couple hours before daylight before the boats and people start piling in. I know how crazy it gets.

Trying to make a couple quick runs in Pensacola Bay this weekend before the air show this weekend. The Blue Angels is probably the biggest day of the year there, I think there are something like 150k people on the island, it's pretty crazy.
HouseOfWaffles has fished there and I was hoping to get a few pointers to make the most out of my time.

He just means that he wouldn't be fishing in the bay from a kayak this weekend. There will be a shite ton of boat traffic because of all the people coming in to watch the blues. It's always crazy for that weekend. Lots of big boats, lots of big wakes.

The Blue Angels are doing the show Saturday at 12 and 2. They are also doing a full dress rehearsal on Friday at the same times. We usually watch that since the crowds are a fraction of the Saturday crowds.

If you are in P'cola for this you better have ear plugs or keep the ear buds in, especially on Friday. They are loud as frick.
