OBGT opening weekend 2014??
Think they'd appreciate us "hunting" next to their blind in a 36' offshore boat?

Just let me go sit at the landing and video when you pull up with it behind the truck and act like you gonna dump it in the diversion.

I can bring the 32' Jupiter and we can set up a suicide blind with em

This would have to be late in the season, the water is a tad low early on for these kind of shenanigans.

About 20 years ago my bil and a couple of our buds decide they are going to start hunting on Catahoula. He calls and asks me if I want in. I told him no I never really liked hunting out there. They go out there and build a little stick blind about 200 yards from someone's standing blind. They go back the next weekend to brush it and its gone. So they take a chainsaw and cut down the standing blind. He calls me and tells me this while laughing his arse off and saying they are going to make a boat blind and hunt the same spot. I told him if he went back to that same spot he would most likely be shot (He was new to duck hunting and they didn't have a clue what the people on Catahoula are like). Long story short, my bil was a dumbass and cut down one of those old timers blinds.

Catahoula is a place totally different from anywhere else in the world. It is crazy the amount of ducks that are on that lake at one time. I personally do not "own" any blinds out there and never will. I only hunt with people who do have blinds there and know things can get crazy out there. I would be pissed if someone burnt my blind and decoys that I put out there so I don't even do it because it is going to keep happening no matter what.

Frick Drew, got place on Larto. And I'll take his blind on Catahoula opening day and dare him to kick me out

You mean the same guy that didn't return phone calls for 2 weeks and said he never got the check for a blind on plantation he wanted and then took it over? I'll add some formosan termites to the lodge for him.

Blinds 300yrds apart? Have fun trying to get birds to work with other hunters that close.
And speaking of HB. I am sure they have some good hunts but from what I have seen that is a shite ton of $ to spend just to kill a bunch of blackjacks and ringnecks.
