I think this enforcement would fall at the parish level.

LDWF can't really enforce who puts a blind or stand on property that is not their's.

Assault is illegal...

I guess that just means they can't enforce me burning them down either then.

Typical TPOS Louisiana cops abusing their "power"

I wouldn't say the state owns the blind, but since the blind is on public property some say it should be open for public use. I guess there is a reason, a political one, that Catahoula Lake was not put under the jurisdiction of the WMA system; the water would be ablaze with the WLF burning duck blinds.

Several. Law of the land is no closer than 300 yds. I went to help buddy brush blind and somebody had started building a blind 250 yds away. He left his business card and note that blind was too close, call him and he'd be happy to help them move it. Next weekend, blind was progressing nicely he found his note and card crumpled up, he leaves another note that gates would be closing and time was running out for them to move it. 2 weeks later, guys had it brushed with pine and about 200 brand new decoys around it, allegedly the decoys were picked up and tossed in blind and set ablaze.

We used to camp on Indian bluff in Nebo in college and watch the bonfires on lake opening weekend. It's a different world out there.

That's what I heard too, but I heard they own the whole lake now.

I just did a quick google search for my uncle

the first link was to LA Sportsman about guides on Catahoula, and someone mentioned him as a guide in 2008, so I guess he is still guiding out there

and the second link was a link to LDWF enforcement page about how he pleaded guilty for violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act

Two blinds that face one another with the decoys in the middle, so when the try to skirt the edge... And these blinds aint but about 50 yards apart and they shoot at one another.

I can't make this shite up.
