Cabelas =s "no longer selling bulk ammo"? Update *false*

Just called in to order some ammo that was being offered "call in only" and the cabelas call center person notified me that "cabelas is no longer offering BULK AMMO OF ANY CALIBER". They said that their website would reflect that by tomorrow...
Not saying its right or wrong...just passing along what they told me 20 minutes ago.
I'll hang up and listen.....

I was calling to order qty 325 boxes of 22 ammo. I gave them the item number and I didn't even make it to how many boxes I wanted before they told me that they were no longer offering bulk ammo....
I said well how many can I order then...the said, we are not offering bulk ammo effective immediately. I said "this particular item number?" they said..."no, all brands and all caliber"

Maybe I talked to some stupid arse that doesn't know, but it sure sounded like a scripted response and hard line communication without much room for questions.

I just talked to my cousin who works in the firearm dept at the gonzales store and said as far as he knows they're selling bulk ammo, the problem is they can't get any to sell...

I called 888-474-4867 (it was the cabelas call center) and was trying to purchase a 325 pack of federal 22 ammo when I was told that....

I just called back and went through the process again..apparently th chicken head I talked to didn't know her arse from a hole in the ground because the person that answered this time took my order and said it would be delivered by the 12th.
